Sunday is a reminder to take the focus away from yourself while giving time back to yourself. September is a busy month for our family since my mom, sister and I have birthdays within a week of each other. Today happens to be my sister’s birthday, and our gifts to each other were the exact same! Even though our birthdays are close and we’ve had dual parties in the past; I’ve always loved the fact that we could celebrate our own day and then one another’s. It’s an awesome reminder that placing the focus away from ourselves allows us to grow as individuals. My sister is an amazing woman who has the ability to bring out the best in those around her. Happy Birthday to my favorite sistor (no, I didn’t spell sistor wrong)!
